This compilation of all Acheron (pre-Abramelin) studio recordings brings you pure old school 90’s Death Metal, driven by a dark atmosphere and the kind of loose technicality that comes from a band pushing itself forward. In 1991 the French Corpsegrinder Records released the “Deprived of Afterlife" EP, giving the band some exposure outside Australia. Their sound clearly tapped into what was happening overseas at the time, with echoes of the early European and American Death Metal wave, while keeping a character of its own.
