Antonio Dayyani - Organisme

Fakten Rather than documenting a single recording session, Organisme brings together seven performances recorded across three sessions at The Village, Medley Studios and Copenhagen's Jazzhus Montmartre during the second half of 2025. Together, they trace the artistic development of Dayyani and his sextet during a period that saw the group expand from the Danish jazz scene onto international stages for the first time. The album takes its title from the idea of an organism, exploring the interconnected relationships that shape people, communities and the wider world. Dayyani views the music itself as a living entity, with each composition contributing to a larger whole while retaining its own distinct character. Across the record, energetic ensemble writing sits alongside intimate ballads and expansive improvisation, reflecting the many different musical voices within the band.
