Fakten UnderVerden, which translates as The Underworld, is a conceptual tale of awakening, where the hidden and forgotten parts of ourselves and the world are brought back to life. With a rare and evocative soundscape blending ancient instruments like the moraharpa, bandoneon, and organistrum with bass, guitar, and drums, the album presents a hypnotic and raw fusion of Nordic folk music and alternative rock. The result is something both new and ancient at the same time. The lyrics traverse ancestral spirituality, personal crises, mythic beings, and inner battles. Sung in Trøndersk dialect, interwoven with verses from the Elder Edda in Old Norse, the album resonates far beyond music – like an echo from forgotten worlds.
