Fakten
The concept album from the Swede Everett Parker is a gritty musical saga, as broken as time itself. Now it is out on limited edition on white vinyl.
Welcome to a world where Folk Rock and Americana blends with raw dark elements, captured on a reel-to-reel tape recorder. This musical odyssey revolves around a family fighting for survival in a hot and dusty landscape.
Totally out of luck and money a grandmother and her adult grandchildren Hank and Hayfork make a living through bank heists, bootlegging and card games. They all takes great risks to survive in a world of sought-after dangers and temptations. But beneath the surface of their criminal activities, floats a family grappling with inner demons, fear and devastating addiction. While a Marshal is closing in.
A dark shadow looms over the desert and the family's efforts, forcing them to confront the truth about their roots and relationships - or to deny it. A journey through search, loss, and despair.
Everett Parker is a one-man-project and persona created by Daniel Börjesson back in 2006. Since then he's self-released a bunch of demo-compilations and two albums, "Irrevocably Human" (2013) and "Outbound Travelin' Crazies" (2021). In 2023 the EP "Where Everything Is Nothing" was released on the Swedish label Ella Ruth Institutet.
