The Trip - Wet Your Whistle

Fakten Tessellate co-founders launch their new project, The Trip, with four slick house cuts on their London based imprint which includes a remix from Leipzig's Mbius.

Title track, 'Wet Your Whistle' begins proceedings with luscious atmospheres, soaring sub-bass rolls and shimmering rhythms keeping you enticed throughout before 'Miss Your Point' offers up skippy, breaks-tinged percussion, nostalgic and uplifting bass notes underneath the inviting acid squelches.


On the flipside, arpeggiated synth flutters and glistening modulations balanced with swinging drums and a succulent sax line take the focus in 'Friend Request (Sax Mix)' whist German artist Mbius who has releases on Ethernal (an offshoot of Daydream) and Long Vehicle rounds things off with stabbing oscillations, angelic leads and rich melodies and grooves in his remix of 'Friend Request'.
