Ingebrigt Håker Flaten & Paal Nilss - Guts & Skins

Fakten The bassist and drummer had a handful of bands going before they together established bands that would dominate jazz nationally and internationally for a long time: Element, Atomic, San, School Days, The Thing and Scorch trio. Through these groups, the pair established themselves as one of Norway's heaviest rhythm sections, with Atomic and The Thing as spearheads for further careers. The members of Guts and Skins Octet are all musicians Paal and Ingebrigt have played with or have wanted to play with, and the instrumentation has also become quite something. The music is composed by Ingebrigt and Paal, and is structured and open enough for all members to take the music in their own directions. There will be high energy and a lot of fun!
