Fakten Mirror of My Soul is the solo project of Patrik Andersson Winberg, known from Dun Ringill, The Order of Israfel and Doomdogs, and "October is Rising" is a debut album shaped entirely on its own terms. Blending intimate singer-songwriter storytelling with gothic moods and hard rock intensity, the album puts atmosphere and emotion front and center.

The record also features an impressive lineup of guests, including Pete Campbell (Axe Dragger, Pentagram), Tobbe Strandvik (Kamchatka), Patric Grammann (Dun Ringill), and Per Wiberg (Spiritual Beggars, Opeth, Tiamat).
