Queen - A Night At The Opera (50Th Annivers

Fakten Queens masterpiece, A Night At The Opera, was released on 28th November, 1975. It was the album that cemented the band's place in the pantheon of supreme rock bands and songwriters, all in one fell swoop.

As one of the most groundbreaking records in rock history, A Night At The Opera blended multiple musical styles, and showcased Queen's musicianship, ambition and innovation, with Bohemian Rhapsody as its centrepiece.
The song defied all convention, combining elements of opera, vaudeville, and rock into a single six minute epic, which Queen released as a single in full, without any edit.

In addition to Bohemian Rhapsody, A Night At The Opera also delivered fan-favourite Love Of My Life and the single You're My Best Friend, both of which further showcased Queens versatility and songwriting range.

The LP gave Queen their first UK Number One album, topping the British charts for four weeks, and became the bands first platinum album in the US.
