Fakten Alex Brown Church debuted Sea Wolf with the beguiling EP Get To The River Before It Runs Too Low, led by the single “You’re A Wolf," a now-timeless classic of ‘00s indie. Sea Wolf’s body of work continues to comfort and inspire with lush arrangements examining human complexity with inviting warmth. 2007’s Leaves in the River was followed by White Water, White Bloom in 2009 as well as an appearance on the generation-defining New Moon soundtrack during peak Twilight which broadened an already devoted following. After Old World Romance with its indelible single “Old Friend" in 2012, Sea Wolf took to self-releasing music before taking an extended break. We were thrilled to partner again when he returned with Through A Dark Wood in 2020. Released in a confusing time, the album is a gorgeous catalog of Brown-Church’s gifts as a writer and vocalist and the dynamic, filmic drama of his recordings.
