The title track was later performed by Bob Dylan as a tribute, highlighting its lasting influence. The album reflects Zevon’s shift toward greater creative control and a more intimate sound. This is the first worldwide stand-alone release on vinyl and is mastered directly from stereo analog tapes by Bernie Grundman.
